Ayurvedic CCF Tea – make your belly happy

Aug 23, 2026

What is Ayurvedic Digestive Tea?

Ayurvedic Digestive Tea, commonly known as CCF Tea, is a traditional herbal drink made with three simple spices: cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds, that's where it got its name from - from the first letters of each ingredient. For centuries, this gentle tea has been used in Ayurveda to support healthy digestion, reduce bloating, and promote overall digestive comfort.

Unlike caffeinated beverages, CCF tea is naturally caffeine-free and can be enjoyed throughout the day. The combination of warming cumin, cooling coriander, and naturally sweet fennel creates a balanced herbal infusion that is both soothing and refreshing.

Whether you've enjoyed a large meal, experienced occasional bloating, or simply want a nourishing herbal tea, this easy recipe comes together in just 10 minutes using pantry ingredients.

Benefits of CCF Tea

Although this tea has a long history in Ayurvedic practice, it should not be considered a medical treatment. Many people enjoy it as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Supports Healthy Digestion

The warming spices may help stimulate digestive processes after meals and promote digestive comfort.

May Help Reduce Bloating

Fennel and cumin have traditionally been used to ease occasional gas and bloating.

Naturally Hydrating

Since it's simply infused water with herbs and spices, it contributes to daily fluid intake without caffeine.

Gentle Daily Herbal Tea

Many people enjoy sipping CCF tea throughout the day as a calming alternative to coffee or black tea.

Rich in Plant Compounds

Cumin, coriander, and fennel naturally contain antioxidants and aromatic essential oils that contribute to their traditional wellness uses.

“I love how something as simple as three pantry spices can create such a comforting cup of tea. It's become one of my favourite ways to unwind after a meal, especially when I want something warm, gentle, and caffeine-free.”
